Our Students Came First in Türkiye at TEKNOFEST 2025
Industrial Engineering Department students Eray Baysal and Aleyna Kenar won first place in Turkey in the Energy and Environment category of the "2025 TEKNOFEST 2242 University Student Research Projects" competition.
The project, "Antalya Province Electric Vehicle Charging Station Site Selection Study Using GIS-Based Multi-Criteria Decision Making Methods," conducted under the supervision of Industrial Engineering Department faculty members Dr. Eren Kamber and Lecturer Ufuk Aydoğmuş, received the highest score from the jury for its innovative approach and applicable solutions.
Our students have achieved significant success by successfully integrating the theoretical and practical knowledge they acquired during their Industrial Engineering education into the fields of energy, environment, and transportation. This achievement by our students makes a significant contribution to sustainability and urban planning.
Our Faculty Dean, Prof. Dr. Erhan Cengiz, congratulated our students and their advisors on this significant achievement and wished them continued success in their endeavors.
