Our Students' Paper Presented at the International Conference
Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University's founders, Semih Emre Durmaz, Asya Ersezen, and Erkan Bakır, along with our faculty members Dr. Atıl Kurt and Dr. Nazmi Şener, have achieved significant international success with their study titled "Optimization of New Base Station Placement Additional to Existing Base Stations."
The study was presented in English by Semih Emre Durmaz at the 13th International Symposium on Manufacturing and Service Systems (ISMSS) in Düzce and attracted considerable interest from attendees.
The project analyzed the coverage areas of existing base stations, which are insufficient to cope with increasing population density, and proposed solutions for the placement of new base stations and coverage. This comprehensive research aims to contribute to telecommunications students.
Furthermore, the fact that the updates will be included in the conference proceedings to be published by Springer further enhances its overall academic value.
This significant achievement was a proud development that strengthened ALKU's academic outlook while providing the opportunity to present the update at an international level.
