Industrial Engineering students must carefully review the Faculty Internship Principles and the Industrial Engineering Department Internship Rules.
These documents contain important information regarding the scope, duration, acceptance conditions, and other essential aspects of the internship. It is crucial to examine these documents to ensure that the internship process is carried out completely and in accordance with the rules.
In the Industrial Engineering Department, there are two mandatory internships: Production and Management. Each internship lasts 20 working days. If the workplace operates on Saturdays, students can include Saturdays in their internship period by obtaining a document proving that work is conducted on those days.
The summer internship is conducted within the periods determined by the university. Announcements regarding these periods are published on the ALKÜ website under the Rafet Kayış Faculty of Engineering Announcements section. The announcement specifies the deadline for internship applications and the exact dates for the internship period. Internship application documents must be submitted by the deadline stated in the announcement on the website.
