INTERNATIONAL ACADEMIC MEETING AT ALKU: VISIT FROM PROF. DR. ALEXANDER BREM AND IMPORTANT STEPS TOWARDS COLLABORATION.
The Department of Industrial Engineering hosted Prof. Dr. Alexander Brem, a leading figure in the international academic community. Prof. Dr. Brem, Vice Rector of the University of Stuttgart and Editor-in-Chief of IEEE Engineering Management Review, facilitated significant academic contacts during his visit.
During the visit, ALKÜ Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Kenan Türkdoğan received Prof. Dr. Alexander Brem in his office. The meeting focused on the university's projects in technology management, international collaborations, and future academic studies. Opportunities for joint work in technology management, innovation, and digital transformation were particularly emphasized.
Furthermore, a significant academic development occurred during the visit. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Gülin İdil S. Bolatan, a faculty member of the Department of Industrial Engineering, was invited by Prof. Dr. Alexander Brem to serve as an editor for IEEE Engineering Management Review. Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Kenan Türkdoğan congratulated Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bolatan on this achievement, stating that it would significantly contribute to the university's international academic visibility.
