International Cooperation and Important Visit at ALKÜ Department of Industrial Engineering
Prof. Dr. Alexander Brem, Vice Rector of the University of Stuttgart and Editor-in-Chief of IEEE Engineering Management Review, visited our Department of Industrial Engineering at Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University (ALKÜ) after giving a talk at our university.
During the meeting, very productive discussions were held regarding new academic collaborations and Erasmus projects planned to be implemented with the University of Stuttgart. Our Erasmus Coordinator, Lecturer Gülsiye Bıçak, was also thanked for her contributions in providing information about the Erasmus program.
Thanks were extended to our Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Prof. Dr. Erhan Cengiz, the Project and Bilateral Collaborations Coordinator of the General Directorate of International Relations, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Gülrü Bayraktar, and all our academics for their valuable insights and contributions during the visit, and they were wished success in their work.
Thanks were also given to the Vice Head of the Department of Industrial Engineering, Assoc. Prof. Dr., for his significant contribution to the realization of this important organization. Gülin Sönmeztürk Bolatan was also thanked, and her appointment as editor of the IEEE Engineering Management Review journal was considered a significant academic achievement for our department.

This visit made significant contributions to our department's internationalization vision and laid a strong foundation for future academic collaborations.
